Dear Parents/Guardians,
We have been informed that
the Area Track & Field Meet has been postponed until Thursday,
June 11th due to the conditions of the facilities and the
expected weather on Wednesday, June 10th. This means that
junior students in Gr. 4-6 will be competing on the same day as intermediate
students in Gr.7-8.
We
are currently working on accessing buses to transport all of our students on
that day, as originally planned. In case we are unable to solidify
transportation our other option is for parents/guardians to drive to Maple High
School. We anticipate buses returning to Thornhill Woods P.S. at around
6:00 p.m.
As
soon as we have more information with regard to transportation, we will update
students at school and parents/guardians via email and the Blog.
